Head chef and General Manager at The Inch Hotel, Nick Sharp, triumphed at the annual HIT (Hospitality Industry Trust) conference which took place earlier this month, having been awarded the inaugural and prestigious SLTN Team Leader scholarship.

The scholarship will allow Nick to bring back knowledge of international innovations to the Scottish hospitality industry and gain expertise to progress to the next level of his career. Recognising the need to continually update skills within the industry, the scholarships enhance personal development and bring fresh ideas back to Scottish businesses to remain at the forefront of international innovations.

As part of his scholarship, Nick has secured a place at the renowned Ecole Hotelier Lausanne for their outstanding bespoke HITS Young Manager Programme. Founded in 1893, the Ecole Hotelier Lausanne is the oldest hotel school in the world and regarded industry-wide as the best hotel school in the world.

Nick and his team at the Inch Hotel, Loch Ness, look forward to welcoming you to the Yard Restaurant to sample the and local food that Nick is so proud of.
